Star Legacy Chronograph
Limited to 1,786 pieces, the Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph comes in a 42 mm round steel case, rose gold-plated Arabic numerals and a striking blue glacier-themed dial. The dial is decorated with a layered glacier design inspired by the Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice in English), the main glacier on Mont Blanc. The centre of the dial, designed using a special print that allows this glacial texture to be reproduced, pays tribute to the blue hour, when an intense blue hue settles on the glacier at dusk, when the moon rises and the stars begin to shine. It was at this time of day that Jacques Balmat became the first person to reach the summit of Mont Blanc: at 6:23 p.m. on 7 August 1786. This model features functions such as hours, minutes and a central seconds hand with a Montblanc emblem on the counterweight. It is also equipped with the MB 25.13 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Time functions are displayed via rose gold-plated Feuille hands, while chronograph indications employ rhodium-plated Baton hands. The watch is paired with a blue sfumato alligator strap.
