MONTBLANC
1858 Automatic Chronograph
119908

The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by the legendary Minerva professional watches created in the 1920s and 1930s for military use and scouting. Montblanc 1858 reinterprets those legendary watches, evokes the spirit of exploratory mountaineering and embodies the current trend of returning to nature. The 1858 Chronograph Limited Edition 1858 is presented in a 42mm bronze case with a khaki green dial that provides the perfect bi-compax backdrop for the counters. The case back features an engraving of the emblematic Mont Blanc, a compass and two crossed ice peaks, thus evoking the spirit of exploratory mountaineering. Optimizing legibility and design, the khaki green dial contrasts with the historic luminescent “cathedral” hands, which in turn feature a slightly domed “cloisonné” motif for a refined finish. It also features Arabic numerals with beige SuperLumiNova*, a “railroad” style minute track and the original Montblanc logo from the 1930s, with the legendary typeface and representation of Mont Blanc. This model with a contemporary look features a khaki green “NATO” strap to match the dial.
