IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s WatchIW389008
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “Blue Angels®” is powered by the IWC-manufactured 89361 calibre and displays the stopped hours and minutes combined on a subdial at “12 o’clock”. Thanks to the integrated flyback function, simply pressing the reset push-button returns the stopwatch hands to zero and immediately starts a new time measurement. The watch is housed in a case made of matt black zirconium oxide ceramic, while the dial and calfskin strap are blue. The separate depiction of the minutes in the outer ring and the hours on a smaller inner ring is reminiscent of the observer’s watches of the 1930s and 1940s. The inner ring supplies an eye-catching yellow highlight on the dial. The crest of the «Blue Angels®» is engraved on the case back.
